FAQ

Question: Is it magnetic?
A: No, snap fasteners in the marine industry are made of either brass or stainless steel. But because the engineering is so precise, it appears that the fastener is being drawn in by a magnet.

Question:  Can the fingers be replaced if they are broken or worn?
A: Yes, the fingers are made out of a very durable Delrin plastic but in the unlikely event that one or more need to be replaced, a replacement kid consisting of 4 fingers and a retainer spring can be purchased from our store for a small cost of $5.

Question: Do you supply anvils for any other fasteners?
A: We are currently in the process of developing a post anvil for the stud and an anvil for the Gypsy Stud.
